Couples who want focused help with one specific issue
One-Time Relationship Consultation in Omaha
one 2-hour consultation
1 session · about 2 hours together

In this two-hour consultation we focus on one problem area in your relationship. Maybe it’s the money argument that keeps flaring up, a standoff about the in-laws, a stalemate over household chores, or a sense that the two of you have drifted apart. You pick the issue, and we dig into it together.
I’ll ask a lot of questions. I want to understand how the problem shows up, what each of you has already tried, and what keeps getting in the way. Because I’m an interactive therapist, you won’t be waiting around wondering what I think. I’ll tell you what I’m seeing in plain language.
Before you leave, I’ll give you specific recommendations: tasks you can do at home to start getting relief from the stress this problem has been causing. These aren’t vague suggestions like “communicate better.” They’re concrete steps you can try that same week.
The Power Consult is a good fit for couples who are mostly doing okay but keep tripping over one issue, for couples who want an experienced outside opinion before committing to ongoing counseling, and for busy partners who would rather do one longer session than several short ones. If it turns out you’d benefit from more support, we’ll talk about which option makes sense next.
Good questions before you book
What kind of problem is a good fit for the Power Consult?
Anything specific and recurring: money fights, chores, in-law boundaries, screen time, mismatched expectations about intimacy, or a big decision you can’t agree on. If you’re juggling several deep issues at once, the Relationship Tackle Box or the Dynamic Duo Package may suit you better.
Is two hours really enough?
For one focused problem, two hours is a good amount of time. It won’t solve everything, but the goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of the issue and a concrete plan to try at home.
Can we book more sessions in Omaha afterward?
Yes. If you’d like to keep going, you can continue with Pay As You Go sessions or move into one of the couples packages.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of the consultation. Call (402) 306-4842 for the current fee.
