Therapy & Couples Counseling Near Regency and Boys Town

Plenty of people around Regency work long hours in demanding jobs, and that brings a particular kind of tired. Long days, a phone that never quite goes quiet, and a partner who gets whatever energy is left over. If you’re running on fumes, stress management and burnout counseling is a practical place to start.
Looking polished from the outside doesn’t mean things are fine at home. Some couples come in carrying something painful they’ve kept quiet for a long time: an affair, a broken promise, a resentment that never got resolved. Infidelity and affair recovery is slow, honest work. I won’t sugarcoat it, and I won’t take sides.
Boys Town has been part of this corner of Omaha for more than a century, and the neighborhoods along the West Dodge corridor are full of families dealing with the usual things: teenagers who stopped talking, adult children moving back home, in-laws with strong opinions. Family counseling helps everyone say what they mean without the conversation blowing up.
The drive is short enough that you can fit a session between work and an errand at Regency Fashion Court or Westroads. And because my office is small and quiet, you won’t be sitting in a crowded waiting room hoping no one recognizes you. You’ll also get an active therapist: I ask questions, offer my honest read and give you something concrete to work on before the next visit.

Regency & Boys Town questions
How long is the drive from Regency or Boys Town?
About six minutes from Regency and nine from the Boys Town area in light traffic. Rush hour on Dodge can add a few, so give yourself a cushion for your first visit.
We both work long days. Can we get an evening appointment?
Yes. I offer daytime and evening appointments, with weekends by request. For couples, I like to start with both partners in the room together, so we’ll find a time that works for you both.
How long is the first session?
With pay-as-you-go sessions, the first visit is 90 minutes so we have time to understand what’s really going on. After that, sessions are 60 minutes.
